Phone Call Job Interview

One technique recruiter’s use when they receive resumes is to call these individuals over the phone and conduct an interview over the phone by asking simple questions and registering the way you speak, your interest, and how well you answer the questions.

This so called “phone call” is a filtering technique for the next stage of the interview process. If the interviewer is happy with what they here, they will ask you at the end of the call when you are available for a face to face interview.

If you did not pass the first round with the interviewer, they will tell you that they are still calling individuals and setting up interviews or they may say that answered their questions about your resume and they will contact you again when they have interviews.
